Management Team

Laila joined RLH in 2018 as General Manager of Mayakoba and Mandarina Experiences, bringing 20 years of experience in managing and creating businesses focused on tourism and experiential services. She began her career in spa administration and management, and gradually ventured into other services, including tourism transportation, tour and activity operation and commercialization, maritime and water sports operations, and group services, among others.

She has developed experiences at the Mayakoba and Mandarina destinations in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit, respectively, from conceptualization and planning through implementation, structuring, and team management. Notable among these are the Mayakoba Diving and Water Activities Center, and the Equestrian Center and Polo Club in Mandarina.

Laila holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from Universidad La Salle. She holds an MBA from Universidad Anáhuac and a Strategic Management Certification from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
